# Shortcodes

## \[chordpress]

The `[chordpress]` shortcode picks up the text wrapped in its tags and – given that it is valid ChorPro format – renders it on your page.

## \[chordpress-chord]

The `[chordpress-chord]` shortcode accesses a Guitar Chord post (a custom post type coming with the ChordPress plugin) and displays it as a diagram.
