# Declination Management

You might want to set up certain rules that are checked when a user enters an absence. Such rules may lead to a declination of the requested absence.

The first tab “Overview” shows you a summary of the current status of all rules.

Little icons next to the tab title show whether this rule is activated or not. This marker does **not** take any scheduling into consideration.

The overview shows each rule, its title, description, value and schedule.
